Summary of Action
Our project, “Critical and Intercultural Education for Action Against Authoritarianism,” aims to enhance understanding and engagement with global issues among individuals aged 25-55, particularly those in precarious situations or unemployed, living in medium-sized towns, peri-urban, or rural areas.
Through participatory workshops and three thematic training days, participants explore systemic dimensions of global challenges, colonial history, and diverse forms of engagement. The project emphasizes hands-on activities like theatre and media production, encouraging participants to connect with local structures and initiate personal projects.
Post-training, participants receive personalized support to overcome barriers and engage meaningfully in their communities. By integrating global perspectives and collaborating with actors from the Global South, the project fosters inclusive and sustainable civic engagement.
