Summary of Action

MAGIC and Soudicy have decided to join their networks and human, technical, and financial skills to develop, on two intercommunalities and more broadly on the department of Allier, a project around the issues of access to healthy food that is environmentally and human-friendly.

The two structures will build three training modules on this theme in order to raise the competence of local structures that act with the general public (young people and people far away from the theme as a priority) so that they can develop information, awareness, and involvement actions for the latter.

The first module will be general enough to provide the necessary basis for considering the problem. The following modules will be more specific and will enable trainees to become “experts.”

In parallel, and in order to develop a territorial dynamic on this theme among all the structures involved in the project, four events for the general public will be proposed. They will highlight the work carried out by the structures involved, but also raise awareness on a large scale and question local public policies around food.

This project aims to involve 6,470 people over 16 months but will continue at the end of the funding period so that the issue of food is integrated into the actions of structures that welcome the public and more widely in local policies.
