Summary of Action
This project aligns with SDG 5 (Gender Equality), aiming to address sexist and sexual violence through education and training for youth professionals to foster equality and inclusivity locally and globally. It leverages the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child to emphasize protection from violence and discrimination. Interactive and tailored training sessions will cover recognizing and combating sexist norms, interculturality, and fostering equality. Directors will receive extended support to implement structural changes via observation-action phases and create violence-free spaces. Activities will include events in relation with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Participants will progress on an engagement scale, from awareness to advocacy, ensuring sustainable structural transformations in youth hosting of minors structures. Indirectly, the project impacts over 1,000 children, parents, and stakeholders by promoting safer environments.
