Grenoble’s Youth Beyond Conflict: Taking Action for Solidarity

General information

Project name: La jeunesse grenobloise au-delà des conflits : agir pour la solidarité
Country: France
Timeline: From 1 October 2025 to 31 July 2026
Lead Organisation: Humacoop – Amel France

Summary of Action

Led by Humacoop-Amel France, this project aims to inform, inspire, and progressively engage young people in the Grenoble area around the global consequences of armed conflict on youth, with a specific focus on Ukraine and Lebanon. It responds to the lack of accessible, in-depth opportunities for youth who may be under-informed or uncertain about how to act, yet curious and eager to learn more.

Through a structured path of creative, educational, and participatory activities, the project supports youth in developing critical thinking and seeing themselves as actors of solidarity and peace.

Activities include:

  • Media workshops (radio and photography) for a core group of youth;
  • The creation of an interactive educational “fresque” (visual toolkit);
  • Collective learning sessions built around this tool.

Public events such as a film screening, a participatory conference, and a photo exhibition will open spaces for reflection and dialogue. A dedicated website will be developed to centralize the project’s content and tools, ensure wider accessibility, and host the interactive digital version of the fresque. It will be a platform for peer sharing and for highlighting youth initiatives here and abroad.

A youth-driven communication campaign will accompany the project, using the website, social media, and student networks to reach diverse audiences. In total, the project aims to reach over 220 young followers, at least 90 activists, and 50 spectators, by providing accessible tools, inclusive spaces for dialogue, and clear opportunities for meaningful involvement.
