Summary of Action
Le Tour des Fresques de la Migration dans les Universités – Région AURA is a regional awareness and civic engagement project led by the French non-profit Kabubu. The project aims to promote inclusion and solidarity through education and local action.
Running from October 2025 to December 2026, the project will be carried out across four university cities: Lyon, Grenoble, Saint-Étienne, and Clermont-Ferrand.
The project is structured around a progressive engagement pathway. It starts with the mobilisation of university and local partners, followed by the organisation of participatory workshops called Fresques de la Migration. In these workshops, students—including those with refugee backgrounds—explore the causes and realities of migration.
At the end of the workshop, each participant receives a locally co-developed Carte Action & Associations to connect them with nearby solidarity initiatives. Students wishing to deepen their involvement can join a free training programme to become workshop facilitators, fostering a peer-to-peer learning dynamic.
Throughout the year, a dedicated Instagram account will showcase the workshops, student experiences, and partner organisations to boost visibility and outreach. The project will close with collective feedback sessions and a reflection on long-term impact and scalability.
By combining popular education, peer training, and strong territorial anchoring, Le Tour des Fresques de la Migration – Région AURA aims to strengthen inclusive and engaged university communities.
