Tomorrow’s Actors for Nature (ADN)
General information
Project name: Acteurs de demain pour la nature (ADN)
Country: France
Timeline: From 1 September 2025 to 1 September 2026
Organisation: CPIE Bugey Genevois
Summary of Action
Observation: According to the Court of Auditors, only 25% of young people leaving the Child Welfare System (ASE) find employment at the age of 18–19, and 50% by the age of 21–22. Employment opportunities are often limited to the hospitality, retail, or construction sectors. These figures show that this young population is largely unaware of global challenges, often disconnected from natural environments, and lacking the guidance needed to build a meaningful future. Careers related to sustainable development are rarely presented to them.
Our aim is therefore to reduce this inequality in access to understanding the world by offering a tailored and inspiring pathway.
The Actors of Tomorrow for Nature (ADN) project seeks to transform the way young people from the Child Welfare System (ASE) relate to nature and major global issues, within a dynamic framework that supports their professional development.
