Summary of Action

The project tackles the disengagement of youth aged 20-29, particularly those at risk of social exclusion, from global justice and peacebuilding processes.
These young individuals often lack opportunities to actively participate in addressing global inequalities, gender disparities, and militarized security models.
The initiative aims to empower youth as transformative agents through participatory video-making. This creative process will enhance their personal, social, and technical skills, fostering critical awareness about North-South inequalities and alternative security models.
The project also seeks to amplify the voices of marginalized youth, creating inclusive and equitable spaces for dialogue and collaboration.

Expected results include youth from diverse backgrounds gaining knowledge and skills for creative activism, an increased sense of belonging for migrant youth, raised awareness of alternative security models through public campaigns, and mobilization of youth to actively engage in social transformation.

Key activities:

  • Training Workshops (Apr-Jun 2025): Youth receive theoretical and practical instruction on peacebuilding and alternative security models.
  • Participatory Video Creation (Jun-Sep 2025): A selected group co-creates videos, learning storytelling, filming, and editing skills.
  • Awareness Campaign (Oct 2025-Apr 2026): Videos are shared online and at public events, fostering critical discussions.
  • Educational Workshops (Oct 2025-Apr 2026): Interactive sessions with young participants to explore global justice and shared security strategies.

The innovative participatory approach, combined with targeted outreach and feminist, decolonial perspectives, ensures transformative impacts on youth engagement and community cohesion.
