Critical Thinking & Gender Equality Youth Exchange

General information

Project name: Critical Thinking & Gender Equality Youth Exchange
Country: Denmark / Poland
Timeline: From 30 January 2026 to 31 January 2027
Lead Organisation: Søholm 4H

Summary of Action

This project brings together young people from Denmark and Poland in a week-long youth exchange focused on critical thinking and gender equality. By creating a shared learning environment, participants explore how inequality shapes opportunities, rights, and participation in society.

Through non-formal education methods such as roleplay, storytelling, and peer learning, participants are encouraged to reflect on their own perspectives and engage in open dialogue with others. These interactive approaches make complex topics more accessible and relevant to their everyday lives.

A key focus of the project is building practical skills. Participants develop the ability to facilitate discussions, design activities, and support learning processes within their own communities. This ensures that the impact of the exchange continues beyond the initial programme.

The project particularly engages young people who are active in youth work or education, enabling them to act as multipliers. By sharing what they have learned, they help raise awareness and promote more inclusive practices in their local contexts.

By connecting participants across borders, the initiative fosters mutual understanding and builds a network of young people committed to addressing inequality and contributing to more inclusive and sustainable societies.
