Summary of Action
The Femicide Watch project aims to reduce femicides in Denmark and internationally by enhancing knowledge, awareness, and prevention of lethal violence against women in close relationships. The project is developed in collaboration with four bereaved relatives who provide insights on recognizing warning signs to prevent future femicides. Materials are created for youth aged 15–25 to help identify danger signals and protect women at risk. CFV will reach up to 1,500 young people in Zealand, Funen, and Jutland through in-person seminars and an online course distributed to partner schools in Denmark. The project collaborates closely with the Turkish organisation We Will Stop Femicide Platform in Istanbul to strengthen the knowledge base and methodology.
