Summary of Action
Through Grøn Gejst (Green Spirit), UngEnergi (UE) and VedvarendeEnergi (VE) will collaborate to engage students from 12 gymnasia (upper secondary schools) evenly distributed across Denmark in themes related to global sustainability and local action. VE leverages its background in international work and networks in Africa to convey perspectives from the Global South to Danish gymnasium students.
The project is divided into two phases and lasts one year:
- In the first phase, 24 students from the 12 gymnasia that participate in the program, participate in local and joint workshops. Here, they gain knowledge and develop concrete activities tailored to gymnasium students.
- In the second phase, the students return to their respective gymnasia with their new knowledge and activity plans, where these plans are put into action.
In total, at least 36 activities will be implemented across the gymnasia. These activities are expected to involve 100 students in their execution and ultimately reach a target audience of 5,400 students.
