Summary of Action
UDSYN Learning Festival creates a gathering point for student teachers, teachers, and civil society actors with a focus on global development and sustainability in education.
The festival—based in Demokrati Garage—strengthens participants’ critical understanding and action skills through dialogue with international partners and inspiring formats such as:
- Story Corners;
- Democratic Morning Coffee;
- Democracy Drinks.
The project builds on Dreamtown’s Gatekeepers efforts and provides the target group with concrete tools, networks, and ideas to translate the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4.7 on sustainable development through education into the classroom.
By bringing together professionals and global voices, the project contributes to engaging future and current teachers in the work for a more inclusive, just, and sustainable world—and anchors this commitment in their teaching practice.
