Summary of Action
The Rights Academy strengthens young people’s engagement in global development issues such as human rights, climate justice, and social equality. The target group is young adults aged 19–30 from Denmark and the Global South, who—through workshops, action projects, and dialogue—develop critical thinking, practical skills, and networks. The Academy focuses on co-creation and capacity-building, culminating in action projects at Folkemødet, where participants engage the public and translate their learning into action. The project promotes inclusion, diversity, and agency, equipping young people to become active agents of change in a more sustainable and just world.
