Summary of Action

This project aims to expand global education across a wide range of school subjects where sustainable development has traditionally received less attention, such as philosophy, history, languages, physical education, mathematics, music, student guidance, and psychology.

By equipping teachers with high-quality, subject-specific materials, the project supports a more integrated and multidisciplinary approach to teaching sustainable development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Building on a previous initiative, the project ensures that each school subject has dedicated teaching resources. These include eight new teaching materials tailored to different subjects, as well as six short videos that incorporate perspectives from actors in the Global South, enriching the global dimension of the content.

The project also integrates gender-transformative approaches and reviews existing materials through this lens. Clear guidance will be provided to help teachers apply the materials in multidisciplinary learning contexts, encouraging collaboration across subjects.

Through widespread dissemination via partner networks, the project will reach hundreds of educators directly and thousands of teachers and students indirectly. It aims to strengthen critical understanding and meaningful engagement with global challenges, contributing to a more inclusive and comprehensive approach to global education in schools.
