Summary of Action
What will the world be like in 50 years? Will we still be able to breathe clean air and move freely? Will social justice exist? This project explores these urgent questions through a creative and thought-provoking approach led by young people.
Inspired by the digital command used to undo mistakes, “Ctrl + Z” symbolises the need for a radical reset of current behaviours to address global crises. The project imagines a group of Gen Z “time travellers” coming from a future where inaction has made the planet uninhabitable. Their mission is to return to the present and raise awareness before it is too late.
Through performances, workshops, and public interventions, these young participants engage communities with a powerful message: it is still possible to change course and build a sustainable and just future. The project combines storytelling and symbolic narratives with concrete actions to promote responsible behaviour, active citizenship, and social engagement.
By blending creativity with education, the initiative encourages critical thinking, strengthens awareness of global challenges, and motivates young people and wider audiences to take action today for a better tomorrow.
