Summary of Action

The project “pOSS0! : Goal zero poverty” aims to raise awareness, literacy, and activism regarding the global challenge of poverty (SDGs 1, 4, and 10) in young people and teenagers who are directly involved in the challenge itself, across the City of Turin (neighbourhoods of Aurora, Barriera and Mirafiori).

The project will implement Non Formal Education regular workshops on the topic, using Forum Theatre, LARP and nonviolent debate as specific methods, to tackle poverty and social inequalities through a gender-transformative lens.

3 groups of youth will be involved, for a total of 40 people (particularly girls and young women), along a path of empowerment and activism, including the organisation of a structured dialogue event with policy makers on the role of youth in tackling poverty.

The project also includes two open events (in Turin and Bricherasio) based on a Forum Theatre performance and a LARP created by participants.
