Summary of Action

“Think, Do, Influence” empowers young people in Latvia to better understand and respond to both global and local societal challenges. The project focuses on strengthening critical thinking, encouraging participation, and supporting young people in taking concrete action within their communities.

The initiative targets young people aged 15 to 30, including newcomers and those who are less engaged in social or civic life. It creates accessible opportunities for them to explore topics such as gender equality, environmental sustainability, health, tolerance, political participation, and media literacy.

Through discussions, personal storytelling, and scenario-based simulations, participants are encouraged to reflect on real-life situations and develop their own perspectives. These activities are complemented by practical actions that allow participants to apply their knowledge and actively contribute to societal change.

To ensure long-term impact, the project will produce educational video materials and posters that can be shared widely among young people. These resources support continued learning and help extend the project’s reach beyond its direct participants.

By combining reflection, dialogue, and action, the project supports young people in becoming more informed, confident, and active citizens, capable of influencing their surroundings and contributing to a more inclusive and sustainable society.
