Summary of Action
“Through the Crisis” supports young people in strengthening their emotional resilience and psychological well-being in a world shaped by increasing global challenges. The project focuses on helping youth better understand how global crises affect their own sense of safety, stability, and future.
Targeting young people aged 18 to 30 across Latvia, the project follows a step-by-step participation approach, guiding participants from awareness to active engagement and knowledge sharing within their communities.
The project is structured in four stages: capacity building, a social media campaign, an in-person workshop, and youth-led content creation. This combination ensures both personal development and broader outreach.
A central element is the workshop “Through the Crisis,” where participants learn practical skills such as emotional self-regulation, mutual support, and how to respond effectively in crisis situations. These sessions are led by experienced specialists and supported by partners from Ukraine, bringing valuable international perspectives.
Through participation in the project, young people build confidence, strengthen their ability to cope with uncertainty, and become more active in promoting resilience and solidarity in their communities. In this way, the project contributes to safer, more inclusive, and more sustainable societies.
