Separate the Truth from the Noise
General information
Project name: „Atskirk tiesą nuo triukšmo“
Country: Lithuania
Timeline: From 8 February 2026 to 31 January 2027
Lead Organisation: VšĮ „Galiu daugiau“
Summary of Action
The project “Separate the Truth from the Noise” targets young people (ages 15–30) living in small towns. In today’s media-saturated environment, where misinformation, social media influence, and unfounded interpretations are widespread, it becomes increasingly difficult for youth to distinguish facts from noise. This often leads to stereotypes and biased views on global issues like human rights, gender equality, and social justice.
Project goal: To promote critical thinking, media literacy, and empathy among young people in smaller towns, reducing prejudice and encouraging informed engagement with global topics.
Through creative workshops, meetings with media professionals, and public events, participants will learn to analyze information critically, discuss media practices, and express their reflections through artistic formats. They will become active, thoughtful citizens who promote inclusion, equality, and human rights within their communities and beyond.
Involving 150 participants, the project aligns with global education principles by equipping youth with knowledge, values, and skills to navigate media responsibly and contribute to a more just and tolerant society.
