Summary of Action
The project involved the implementation of activities aimed at enhancing young people’s competencies in global education, social activism, and anti-discrimination. Its goal was to engage participants in addressing global challenges such as climate change, migration, social inequalities, and human rights, including issues related to the LGBTQ+ community.
In-person training sessions in Toruń provided 12 participants with knowledge about global challenges such as climate change, migration, and inequalities. The training was interactive and focused on developing critical thinking skills and the analysis of global issues. Online meetings and mentoring for project groups enabled participants to work in teams on mini educational or social projects addressing local and global challenges. Through these activities, participants gained both knowledge and practical experience, while developing leadership and project management skills.
The project strongly emphasized inclusivity and gender equality across all activities, both during the training and in promotional materials. By collaborating with experts and engaging in mentoring processes, participants had opportunities for personal growth and active involvement in global education and anti-inequality initiatives.
