General information
Project name: HerPower- Siła kobiet w zmieniającym się świecie
Country: Poland
Timeline: From 1 February 2026 to 31 January 2027
Lead Organisation: Fundacja Rozwoju Kwalifikacji Stella Virium
Summary of Action
The HerPower project aims to empower women from diverse backgrounds and countries by strengthening their psychological resilience, agency, and social skills. Through this, participants are enabled to actively address gender inequalities and engage with contemporary global challenges. The project adopts a transformative and intersectional approach, recognising inequalities linked to gender, ethnicity, socio-economic status, disability, and migration.
A central element of the project is the creation of the e-book “HerPower – Women’s Strength in a Changing World”, featuring personal stories from 10 selected women who act as mentors and narrators. These stories highlight how women navigate challenges such as displacement, discrimination, cultural stereotypes, caregiving responsibilities, and disability, transforming these experiences into sources of empowerment.
Following this, six of the narrators will lead a one-day workshop in Krakow for 20 young women and participants with limited exposure to global challenges. During the workshop, at least five educational video clips will be produced.
These materials, together with the e-book, will form the basis of a four-month social media campaign, reaching at least 1,000 online participants. Participants are actively involved as co-creators of the project, ensuring authenticity and long-term impact.
The project contributes to social change by increasing awareness of global challenges, strengthening women’s agency, promoting inclusivity and solidarity, and encouraging active engagement in building a more equal and sustainable world.
