Summary of Action
The project “Lessons for (Inter)cultural Dialogue” engaged young people from Warsaw secondary schools and Youth Education Centers in critically reflecting on global challenges such as migration and multiculturalism. It aimed to foster dialogue, peer integration, and critical thinking.
Activities included:
- Intercultural workshops led by two facilitators: one with migration or refugee experience and one of Polish origin. These 10 workshops addressed global processes, media narrative analysis, and dialogue skills.
- Zine creation workshops following the intercultural sessions. These 10 creative sessions enabled students to produce and distribute zines on multiculturalism and global challenges, promoting dialogue within the wider school community.
The project targeted groups with limited knowledge of global issues, integrated perspectives from individuals with migration experience, and emphasized gender equality. Outcomes included increased global awareness, an improved class atmosphere, and strengthened openness and collaboration within school communities.
