Summary of Action
In the period between SDG-day (Sept 25), and Worldl Food day (Oct 16), the Delft SDGnetwork will ask attention for the global food system and local implications and alternatives.
Some aspects of the food system are fairtrade, food waste, organic farming, foodmiles, protein-transition.
Among our network are local food producers, environmental and social organizations, artists, municipality, libraries, schools, student organizations.
We will show the relation between poverty, food production and consumption, climate, gender and health and show alternatives for present unsustainble practices, that can be realized here and now. We will do so by organizing events like dinners, workshops, films, excursions, a (social) media campaign and an event in the city centre.
