Summary of Action

Our proposal on the consequences of the genocide in Gaza, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime encourages significant innovative engagement by the organisations that will be involved in the final design, implementation and dissemination of the project, including the Palestinian Defense for Children Palestine, Union of Palestinian Women Committees and the local Mundubat, with collaboration of Alliance for Solidarity-ActionAid.

The project also promotes activism and multiplication through participation in the design of the project and in accompanying the actions of organisations such as Colectiva s, Grupo BDS Catalunya, Taula Intercultural del Districte de Sants, Agrupament Escolta i Guia Sant Jaume, la Marcha Mundial de Mujeres, WIDE+, Escola, Famílies i Pau, SUDS and Escola, Famílies i Pau.

Furthermore, it encourages monitoring and critical understanding among audiences through media outlets that will publish the results, including El País, Cadena Ser, Ara and Catalunya Ràdio.

The project will carry out four actions: journalistic coverage, an education campaign for global justice, an advocacy action, and an EpJG action.

The initiative critically examines the alarming phenomenon of children and adolescents aspiring to become martyrs, seeking meaning in the face of limited future prospects, often recording posthumous messages to be shared online. The analysis focuses on masculinities and the context of violence that drives these decisions.
